Heartfelt thanks to those who had a hand in creating delicious memories at the Women’s Writing Retreat in the Adirondacks. I was truly a “mountain mama” relishing in the long, deep breaths of fresh air, and listening for the cry of the loon as the lakeside water lapped gently along the grassy bank. On the other side of the screened-in porch the whisper of hummingbird wings graced our presence while I sat teaching adult women writers the magic of words. The week of perfect weather (even the rain), sharing of words and renewed friendships was a true gift. Thank you Fran, Nan, Monica and crew, Eileen, Maggie, Kileen, Kit, Carol, Annie, Ellen, and all those who celebrated the wonder of women writers.
